Bradesco, one of Brazil’s largest banks, needed to keep pace with rising demand for always-on, mobile banking while maintaining the highest levels of reliability, security, and privacy. To address this challenge, Bradesco worked with IBM and used IBM Z and IBM Storage to support a modern, customer-centric banking platform.

IBM implemented a secure, agile core banking environment powered by IBM Z, IBM DS8900F storage, and related software including IBM CICS, IBM IMS, IBM Db2, and IBM WebSphere. The results included 1.5 billion business transactions per month, 36 million monthly users of the Bradesco Banking Platform, and 78 million daily transactions through the mobile app, helping Bradesco expand digital services, improve efficiency, and keep banking secure 100% of the time.
