Conestoga Wood Specialties Corporation, a cabinet-door and wood-components manufacturer with more than 1,100 employees across four U.S. locations, needed to expand its back-office data infrastructure to keep up with growing customer demand, suppliers, and analytics needs. To support that growth, the company worked with IBM using IBM Netezza and IBM Cognos Analytics.

IBM modernized Conestoga’s on-prem analytics environment to a fully managed cloud solution on AWS with IBM Netezza SaaS, while preserving compatibility and avoiding disruption. The migration delivered 100% workload compatibility and zero downtime, while supporting 1.2 TB of data, 10,000 daily queries, and more than 5,200 reports per day; Conestoga also maintained 99.9% complete shipments and strong on-time delivery performance.
