A IBM Case Study

Preview of the Lindbergh Case Study

Lindbergh adopts IBM technology to manage nightly parts deliveries

Lindbergh, a field service management company specializing in nighttime parts deliveries for manufacturing maintenance technicians, needed a way to centralize and automate logistics to ensure accurate, on-time shipments. It turned to IBM technology, using IBM Cloud services and IBM Power Virtual Server through GEP Informatica’s SaaS-based SIGEP Transport solution.

IBM helped Lindbergh implement a cloud-based transportation management system to standardize logistics, improve tracking, and automate key processes such as fleet management and invoice control. The solution is designed to reduce costs, increase delivery accuracy, and improve customer satisfaction, while supporting more than 2,000 daily delivery points with greater flexibility and scalability.
