KIO Spain and IBM Power: flexibility and support for demanding workloads

KIO Spain, an Infrastructure-as-a-Service provider for mission-critical workloads, wanted to stand out in the move from on-premises infrastructure to cloud by offering more flexible, high-availability services—especially for SAP and other demanding applications. To do that, it worked with IBM and IBM Power servers to give customers a robust cloud option with strong performance and support.

IBM implemented IBM Power technology and demo-led evaluations that helped KIO Spain win new customers and modernize existing systems. The results included 17 satisfied customers across Spain, a 35% performance improvement, and a 50% reduction in data center footprint and energy use, helping KIO Spain differentiate its services and grow its business.
