A IBM Case Study
The Ministry of Justice, a major government body in central Europe, faced a challenge with its inefficient, predominantly manual and paper-based judicial case management system. This led to slow processes, data silos, and a high potential for human error, which hindered collaboration and decision-making. To address this, the ministry engaged IBM to develop an automated solution built on IBM FileNet Content Manager software.
IBM implemented the IBM Ergonomic Judiciary Case Management system, which centralized all case data into a single repository and automated the ministry's specific "relation technique" methodology. The solution, developed with IBM Business Partner CENIT AG, streamlined workflows and enabled powerful searches across internal and external data sources. As a result, the ministry projects a 30% gain in efficiency upon full deployment, significantly faster and more insightful decision-making, and a drastic reduction in cases lost due to missing information.
