JLL teams with IBM Garage to develop an immersive data visualization engine
JLL faced a challenge helping a Middle East developer understand the status and performance of a sprawling, multi-million-square-meter real estate portfolio. Data was spread across different sites and systems, making monthly reports slow to produce, quickly outdated, and difficult to communicate clearly.
Working with IBM Garage and IBM technologists, JLL built Prism, a 3D digital-twin platform that combines lidar mapping, real-time data streams, and operational systems into a single visualization engine. Hosted on IBM Cloud, the solution improved asset visibility, simplified management, and enabled faster, data-driven decisions to reduce inefficiencies and costs while supporting scalable deployment across individual buildings or global portfolios.
