Infosys achieves a 5-7 percent effort reduction across projects

Infosys, a global leader in consulting and technology, faced challenges in managing its 4,000 annual projects due to distributed teams, changing priorities, and a need for greater collaboration to improve quality and productivity. To tackle this, the company partnered with IBM to implement a collaborative lifecycle management solution.

IBM implemented its Rational software suite, including Rational Team Concert and Rational Quality Manager, to support a DevOps approach. This solution improved visibility and broke down silos between teams and customers. As a result, Infosys achieved a 5-7 percent year-on-year effort reduction across projects, significantly improved efficiency, and reduced defect levels to above the industry average.
