Financial Insurance Management Corp. (FIMC), a provider of outsourced customer membership programs, needed a higher-quality mobile experience to simplify renewals and keep members connected so benefits wouldn’t lapse unnoticed. To achieve faster, more continuous service and boost renewals, FIMC engaged IBM (via IBM Premier Business Partner PointSource, LLC) and leveraged IBM MobileFirst Platform, IBM Rational Test Workbench and IBM DevOps Services for BlueMix.
PointSource used IBM MobileFirst to build a single hybrid app (iOS and Android) that integrates with FIMC’s back-end systems, used Rational Test Workbench for automated testing, and employed IBM DevOps Services for BlueMix to run an iterative, transparent delivery process. Delivered in three months (prototype in under four weeks), the solution increased member engagement, put benefits front-and-center and helped FIMC increase its renewal rate while enabling monthly updates and faster feature rollout — all built with IBM technologies.
