A IBM Case Study
iKure, a social enterprise focused on primary healthcare in rural India, faced the challenge of delivering quality care to remote communities where access to doctors was limited and heart disease risk needed to be identified faster. With IBM Cloud and IBM Cloud Pak, iKure aimed to help doctors remotely access patient data and prioritize treatment more effectively.
IBM implemented IBM Cloud Pak and IBM Watson AI to build a predictive cardiac care model that ranked patients by severity using data from clinics, wearables, and patient records. The solution helped doctors speed up diagnosis and triage, impacting 9 million lives in 7 Indian states, with plans for 200 hubs and broader reach across India, Africa, and Vietnam.
