Duy Tan University, a private multidisciplinary institution in Vietnam, needed to incorporate cutting-edge technology into its IT curriculum to increase its students' marketability and improve their job prospects upon graduation. The university turned to IBM and its IBM Academic Initiative program to provide students with hands-on experience using enterprise-level technologies.
The solution involved integrating the IBM MobileFirst Platform into the mobile application development course, giving students direct experience with professional development tools. As a result, approximately 120 students have gained firsthand experience with the platform, with many earning IBM certifications. This experience and certification have helped graduates find jobs more easily and be more successful in their IT careers.
