How optimized asset management contributes to sustainability goals of Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur Group

Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur, operator of Nice Côte d'Azur Airport, needed better traceability, responsiveness, and lifecycle management for complex airport assets while also reducing operational and environmental impact. To address these challenges, the airport turned to IBM Maximo to manage equipment across terminals, infrastructure, maintenance, repairs, and investments.

IBM implemented IBM Maximo to centralize asset data, automate alerts, document interventions, and support maintenance and investment decisions through integration with financial systems. The result was improved asset performance and lifespan, faster incident response, productivity gains, stock optimization, and lower energy use and emissions; the airport has also used the solution for nearly 20 years as part of its goal to reach zero CO2 emissions by 2030.
