AppLift, a Berlin-based mobile ad technology company, wanted to expand its DataLift 360 ad placement platform globally while keeping latency low for app developers and publishers. To do that, AppLift turned to IBM and its IBM Cloud Infrastructure hosting solution, including IBM Cloud Bare Metal and virtual resources.

IBM helped AppLift build a hybrid cloud environment designed for high-performance global delivery, with hosting in locations such as Hong Kong and Washington, DC. The solution enabled AppLift to scale to more than 1 million queries per second, store and process over two billion user profiles, and keep costs low by flexibly turning cloud resources on and off as needed.
