The City of Greater Dandenong sought to reduce costs by reviewing cloud-based enterprise mobility management solutions, aiming to replace a legacy IT platform that was four years old. They worked with the vendor, IBM, to find a more cost-effective and easier-to-manage solution.

IBM, through its partner Advent One, implemented the IBM MaaS360 platform to address the city's content management, app deployment, and security needs. This implementation successfully reduced the total cost of ownership for the mobility management platform and improved the stability of mobile updates while providing enhanced ease-of-use and manageability over the previous solution.
