FCT, Canada’s leading title insurance provider, needed to simplify a complex, decades-built application landscape to deliver faster, more transparent service. Working with IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation, the company aimed to automate title insurance processes and create more flexible workflows for its lenders and customers.
IBM implemented IBM Business Automation Workflow, IBM Operational Decision Manager, and IBM Blueworks Live to standardize and automate process flows, supported by an IBM Business Partner, Salient Process. The results included reducing new title insurance application turnaround time from 2 weeks to 15 minutes, with 80% of transactions completed in under two hours and 40% of customer interactions now handled through straight-through processing.
