Case Study: Aura Cloud improves default detection with IBM watsonx.ai

A IBM Case Study

Preview of the Aura Cloud Case Study

Examining the role of generative AI in improving default detection

Aura Cloud, a Stockholm-based fintech startup, wanted to improve its default behavior detection and transaction monitoring capabilities for financial institutions. To do that, Aura Cloud partnered with IBM and ran a four-week pilot of IBM watsonx.ai to explore how generative AI could help identify deviations from normal banking transaction patterns more effectively.

IBM implemented the watsonx.ai pilot with Aura Cloud to strengthen transaction classification, categorization, and insight generation. Based on the pilot, Aura Cloud expects more than 80% improvement in transaction insight generation once the solution is fully implemented, helping IBM and Aura Cloud advance faster fraud and default detection.
