ENN Group, a multinational energy company serving customers in more than 80 cities with over 50,000 employees, faced an overwhelming surge in IT service requests when COVID-19 forced mass remote work. To respond, ENN partnered with IBM and deployed a stack including IBM watsonx Assistant, IBM Watson Discovery, IBM Robotic Process Automation, IBM Cloud Pak for Automation and IBM Cloud Pak for Data to power virtual AI assistants for IT, finance and customer service.

IBM implemented an integrated AI + RPA virtual assistant solution that enabled thousands of employees to get remote-access tools within half a day—work that previously would have taken days or weeks—and reduced virtual assistant setup time from up to two months to mere days. The IBM solution broadened self-service across IT and finance, lowered labor costs, sped deployment, and consolidated data and automation capabilities at scale.
