Enhancing editorial capabilities with generative AI

Minijob-Zentrale (MJZ), Germany’s central agency for minijob reporting and information, needed a better way to turn complex regulatory updates into clear, engaging articles. Its editors were challenged to simplify content, publish appealing pieces, and stay creative while handling time-consuming editorial tasks.

IBM helped MJZ address this by using IBM watsonx.ai with IBM Client Engineering and IBM iX to design a generative AI editorial assistant called Mini. The tool supports idea generation, text simplification, audience tailoring, and keyword suggestions, helping cut publishing time by 75% and reducing the effort needed to plan, write, and publish articles.
