Driving automated, integrated enterprise asset management

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) needed a better way to manage critical research equipment and facilities. Using IBM Maximo software, PNNL moved away from a mix of point solutions and sought a more streamlined, integrated enterprise asset management approach with better visibility and control.

IBM implemented a unified asset management platform built on IBM Maximo, giving PNNL a single view of about 44,000 assets and automating work order and helpdesk workflows. The result was reduced complexity through the retirement of 10+ systems, a single point of control for asset management, and data-driven insights that improved operational planning and decision-making.
