Digital Ajman delights citizens with integrated services

Digital Ajman, the government digital transformation department in Ajman, UAE, faced a complex challenge of connecting siloed systems across local, federal, and private entities to simplify public services. To address this, it worked with IBM and used IBM Cloud Pak for Integration, including IBM API Connect and IBM App Connect Enterprise, to build a unified integration framework.

IBM implemented a centralized integration hub that enabled key services like Ajman Pay, Bait Amer, and Bashr, reducing touchpoints and modernizing legacy integrations. The results included over 160 integration points completed, around AED 2 million in savings, and a paperless approach that has already saved nearly 150 trees and is expected to save more than 200 trees annually.
