A IBM Case Study
CDG Prévoyance, the pension and provident funds entity of Morocco’s Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion, needed to transform its process-heavy, paper-based operating model to serve more than one million subscribers more quickly and directly. Working with IBM, it set out to digitize documentation and deliver more customer-centric services, after some requests from subscribers showed the need for faster, easier access to benefits and certificates.
IBM implemented IBM Cloud Pak for Applications and IBM Cloud Pak for Automation to modernize CDG Prévoyance’s legacy application into a microservice architecture and automate key workflows. The company automated about 50 core business processes, cut one process from 5 days to about 1 hour, and enabled near-instant online pension certificate processing, significantly improving service speed, convenience, and resilience during the pandemic.
