CVS Health came to IBM, through The Weather Company and the AI-enabled Flu Insights with Watson tool on The Weather Channel app, looking for a way to reach consumers in high-risk flu areas and encourage flu shot vaccinations. The goal was to connect with people at the right time and in the right context during flu season.
IBM helped CVS Health sponsor Flu Insights with Watson, adding a Flu Details Page, localized flu insights, contextual alerts, and flu prevention content. The campaign reached over 42 million unique visitors, delivered 644 million ad impressions, and exceeded CVS’s internal benchmark CTR by 120%+; “Find Your Local CVS” messaging converted over 77% of module clicks.
