Crédit Mutuel Arkéa entrusts its application monitoring to IBM Instana Observability

Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, the mutual banking group, needed to modernize performance monitoring for about 14,000 application instances and replace its expiring APM solution. The goal was to provide better insights for Dev, Ops, and business teams, while supporting collaboration and end-to-end application stability with IBM.

IBM implemented IBM Instana Observability as the new observability platform, with Crédit Mutuel Arkéa managing the migration in-house and rolling it out through PoC, pilot, and production phases. The result was rapid adoption and stronger visibility: usage grew from about 20 connections per day to 275 weekly users making several hundred daily connections, while improving application stability, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency, saving time and money.
