Creating a global management system with SAP and IBM solutions to enhance operational efficiency

TOA Corporation, a Japan-based manufacturer of audio, surveillance, and broadcasting equipment operating in 31 countries, needed a better way to run its globally distributed manufacturing, product planning, and sales activities around the clock. The company turned to IBM and Enterprise Application Management for SAP Solutions on IBM Cloud to unify its SAP ERP environment and improve visibility and control across regions while lowering IT complexity.

IBM helped TOA migrate its SAP ERP systems to IBM Cloud and later move them to IBM’s Tokyo data center, configuring a managed cloud environment and supporting SAP Basis operations. The result was a stable, standardized global management system with improved application availability, reduced maintenance work at regional sites, stronger governance, and lower IT infrastructure and maintenance costs, while also boosting infrastructure performance and enabling future digital services.
