A IBM Case Study
Corus Entertainment, a media and content company, needed to replace its aging corporate network before end-of-support while ensuring high availability for mission-critical services and room for future digital innovation. The company turned to IBM, using IBM Global Technology Services and IBM Support Services for Multivendor Network and Security alongside Cisco networking products, to plan a safer path to a more scalable, software-defined infrastructure.
IBM helped Corus design and implement a next-generation network based on Cisco Catalyst 9300 and Cisco Nexus 9300-EX Series switches, with Cisco ACI and Cisco DNA to simplify management and enable automation. The result was a zero-disruption migration, more than double the bandwidth, 40% lower latency, and 32% higher availability, giving Corus a future-ready platform and faster provisioning for new services.
