Comprehensive process redesign with cloud-based process modeling and automation

Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Service faced funding cuts and needed to improve process efficiency and reduce costs without affecting frontline operations. To tackle this, the service worked with IBM, using IBM Blueworks Live and IBM Business Process Manager on Cloud to modernize and better manage business processes.

IBM implemented a cloud-based process discovery, modeling, and automation platform that connected teams across 29 sites and supported 16 processes. The results included a 60% to 90% reduction in process development and deployment times, plus up to 80% time savings by eliminating duplicate data entry, while also improving data quality and collaboration across fire and rescue services.
