Capital Bank of Jordan needed a modern data infrastructure to support rapid growth, integrate recent acquisitions, and deliver more personalized banking experiences across retail and corporate channels. To achieve this, the bank worked with IBM and IBM Business Partner Jordan Business Systems, using IBM Cloud Pak for Data and IBM Netezza Performance Server to create a unified data hub for advanced analytics and AI.
IBM helped Capital Bank centralize data from core banking and 15+ applications, complete major data migrations from acquired banks, and build a single source of truth for analytics and machine learning. The results included cutting acquisition-related data migration time by more than 95% and speeding up detection of mobile experience issues by more than 10x, helping improve customer satisfaction and support a smoother mobile app rollout.
