Capgemini speeds time to market by 25 percent

Capgemini’s Accelerated Delivery Center (ADC) in Utrecht needed a more predictable, repeatable agile development approach to support growing customer demand, meet CMMI Level 3 quality standards, and operate within its Rightshore delivery model. To address this, Capgemini engaged IBM and adopted the IBM Rational Jazz platform together with Rational Team Concert, Rational DOORS Next Generation, Rational Quality Manager, Rational Software Architect and IBM Software Services for Rational.

IBM implemented an integrated Rational Jazz–based collaborative lifecycle management solution that standardized templates, traceability, testing and collaboration for distributed teams. The platform helped Capgemini reduce operating and ownership costs by 25% and improve speed to market, productivity and product quality by about 25%, while increasing predictability, risk mitigation, faster project startup and cross-team collaboration.
