A IBM Case Study
Canal+ Télécom, a French overseas telecoms operator, needed better monitoring of its information system as its existing supervision tools no longer met needs for application mapping, real-time alerting, and root-cause identification. To address this, Canal+ Télécom worked with IBM using IBM Instana Observability and IBM Client Engineering to test a new observability approach on its own platform.
IBM implemented a live MVP/POC with Canal+ Télécom and Erica, focusing on auto-discovery, root-cause analysis, and business activity monitoring. The trial, completed in less than two months, proved convincing enough for Canal+ Télécom to begin rolling out IBM Instana Observability to 100 agents, with IBM noting the solution could cut incident resolution time by half.
