BVA subsidiary Hubicus secures its service level thanks to observability

Hubicus, a BVA Family subsidiary, needed to monitor its rapidly growing HQM SaaS platform after moving from a monolithic setup to a cloud-based microservices architecture. With 120 customers and 60,000 daily users relying on strict SLA performance, traditional log-based monitoring was no longer enough to quickly pinpoint issues across infrastructure, services, and code. IBM Observability by Instana was selected to provide deeper, more detailed observability.

IBM implemented IBM Observability by Instana on Hubicus’s production environment, covering 230 containers across 11 worker nodes and helping teams monitor both the application and key client interconnections. The solution improved incident detection and resolution, gave ops and developers better visibility into root causes, and even uncovered issues with partner connections; Hubicus reported faster bug handling, clearer guidance for developers, and greater confidence in meeting service commitments.
