A IBM Case Study
CTE, a construction and industrial machinery company, wanted to strengthen customer loyalty by turning its sales and service data into value-added services. But its operations were spread across three legacy systems, making it hard to get a unified view of performance, accelerate analysis, and reduce the manual effort needed for reporting and planning. CTE worked with IBM Services and SAP S/4HANA to modernize its finance and enterprise management environment.
IBM Services replaced the disconnected systems with cloud-based SAP S/4HANA, using the IBM IMPACT solution and IBM Ascend methodology to deliver a live system in eight months. The new platform created a single source of operational data, cut manual administrative work, improved reporting and analytics, and reduced setup time. As a result, CTE gained faster access to validated data, a unified view of its business, and a stronger foundation for future data-driven services, with IBM Services helping position the company for continued growth.
