Kotak Cherry, the retail investment platform from Kotak Investment Advisors, wanted to create a secure, cloud-native digital experience for India’s growing investor market but faced major website stability issues soon after launch. Kotak Cherry turned to IBM Consulting and IBM Services for AWS Cloud to help improve performance, reduce outages, and support future growth.

IBM co-created a reliability and scalability strategy with Kotak Cherry, including architecture redesign, code cleanup, containerization, microservices, and cloud optimization on AWS. As a result, IBM helped Kotak Cherry reach 100% daily site availability, cut service tickets by 99%, and enable onboarding of 2,000 new customers per day, while also supporting more than three million app downloads and stronger customer engagement.
