BlueShore Financial uses IBM tools to empower employees and reduce manual processes

BlueShore Financial, a boutique financial institution serving 40,000 clients, wanted to support its relationship-driven “Financial Spa” experience by reducing paper-heavy, manual work across onboarding, lending, and auditing. To do that, it worked with IBM and IBM Business Partner VersaFile Services Group, using IBM FileNet Content Manager and IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation to digitize client files and streamline operations.

IBM and VersaFile implemented intelligent automation, process integration, and digital workflows across key systems and business processes. The results were significant: BlueShore eliminated 7,000 square feet of filing space, saved about CAD 300,000 a year, increased lending volume by 250% over three years without adding staff, cut a six-week RRSP loan backlog to overnight processing, and saved another CAD 100,000 annually through automated auditing.
