With IBM Blockchain, Dan.com automated ownership transfers and related workflows, replacing broker-heavy, manual steps with a scalable ledger and smart contract-based process. The results were significant: processing capacity increased 900%, from 300 to 3,000 transactions per month, and the IBM solution can support 600,000 transactions every half hour, helping Dan.com launch new services such as domain rental and lease while future-proofing its platform.
