A IBM Case Study
Frankly.AI, an Auckland-based startup focused on accelerating generative AI adoption, needed a faster and more efficient way to capture and synthesize the key points from expert discussions, forum transcripts, and research papers. The company wanted to scale “no voice left behind” conversations while improving security, governance, and transparency, and turned to IBM and watsonx.ai for help.
IBM worked with Frankly.AI to co-create a proof of concept using watsonx.ai and IBM Watson Discovery to automatically extract, organize, and summarize transcript and paper content by topic and speaker. The solution helped about 100 New Zealand AI Forum members generate a white paper in just two weeks and cut reporting time by more than 90%, showing how IBM’s gen AI tools can dramatically speed up complex summarization work.
