A IBM Case Study
Clearscope, an SEO-focused company owned by Mushi Labs, wanted to eliminate the manual work of analyzing web content and optimizing it for better search rankings. To solve this challenge, Clearscope turned to IBM and its Watson Natural Language Understanding service to help automate content analysis and make recommendations for creating more relevant content faster.
IBM implemented Watson Natural Language Understanding software to extract concepts, entities, keywords, and other signals from top-performing pages, then turn that data into actionable guidance on readability, word count, and content type. The results were strong: Clearscope customers saw measurable traffic gains, including a 52% increase in organic traffic for Optimizely, while Clearscope itself reported 15% month-over-month revenue growth and served more than 250 organizations across 30 countries.
