A IBM Case Study
GBM, a managed services provider in Central America, needed a way to deliver custom hybrid cloud environments for customers across industries without making operations too complex or costly. The company also wanted to improve speed, quality, and flexibility while meeting demanding service-level agreements. IBM helped GBM address this challenge with IBM Cloud Pak for Multicloud Management and Red Hat OpenShift.
Using IBM’s solution, GBM standardized and automated provisioning, orchestration, and maintenance across on-premises, private, and public clouds. The results were significant: VM provisioning time dropped from one week to two minutes, operational expenses in this area were cut by half, and rework that had consumed about 30% of fulfillment time was nearly eliminated, improving uptime and service quality.
