Case Study: DHL achieves faster, more flexible warehouse integration with IBM Sterling Transformation Extender

A IBM Case Study

Preview of the DHL Case Study

An integrated, customer-centric approach to warehouse management

DHL Supply Chain, part of DHL International GmbH, needed a uniform way to integrate the diverse ERP systems and data sets of its warehouse management customers with DHL’s internal systems. Its manual, customer-by-customer integration process was time-consuming, inefficient, and expensive, so DHL turned to IBM and the IBM Sterling Transformation Extender solution.

IBM implemented Sterling Transformation Extender to automate data mapping and transform customer data into formats compatible with DHL Link, DHL’s internal integration platform. The result was faster, more flexible onboarding and support for more than 17,000 custom integration maps, helping DHL transform 2.2 billion messages per year through its Integration Center of Excellence.
