A IBM Case Study
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, one of Europe’s busiest airports, needed to improve asset management and maintenance processes to reduce delays while serving nearly 70 million passengers and 1.8 million tons of cargo annually. To support its digital transformation, the airport turned to IBM and its Maximo-based asset management tools.
IBM implemented IBM Control Desk and Maximo Anywhere to help Schiphol automatically receive and prioritize service incidents and give subcontractors mobile access to maintenance work. The solution improved efficiency in handling asset maintenance and supported the goal of automating the work order process, helping Schiphol better minimize delays and keep operations running smoothly.
