Allianz Managed Operations & Services SE (AMOS), a shared service provider for the Allianz Group, sought a more robust and efficient way to produce accurate financial reports and streamline its accounting workflows. The goal was to reduce manual effort, improve staff productivity, and support future business growth. To meet this challenge, AMOS partnered with IBM Global Business Services.
IBM implemented a standardized accounting platform based on SAP ERP applications running on IBM infrastructure, including IBM z Systems and IBM Power Systems servers. This solution automated processes and integrated planning. As a result, IBM helped AMOS reduce its reporting workload by 10-20 percent, eliminate duplicated effort, and significantly improve data quality, allowing 300 skilled personnel to focus on more value-added analytical work.
