AdVini, France’s leading producer of terroir wines, faced growing strain on its on-premise IT systems as the company expanded through acquisitions and added more sites, users, and data. To support its SAP-based production processes and reduce risks tied to infrastructure, cyber threats, and aging hardware, AdVini turned to IBM and IBM Cloud for SAP.
IBM migrated AdVini’s SAP landscape to the cloud, rebuilding databases and application services and updating to the latest SAP HANA and SAP Business Objects versions. The new IBM Cloud environment delivered stable bare-metal performance, eliminated backup disruptions that had slowed operations, improved resilience and cybersecurity, and shifted IT from heavy capital investment to a monthly fee model.
