Navigator Gas, a global liquefied gas carrier operator, was facing rapidly growing governance, risk and compliance demands after merging with Ultragas ApS, which nearly doubled its fleet. To manage expanding audit and regulatory obligations, the company needed a scalable, automated GRC platform, and turned to IBM and Deloitte, using IBM OpenPages as the foundation for the solution.

IBM and Deloitte implemented Deloitte Sense, a customized GRC platform built on IBM OpenPages, to streamline workflows, centralize compliance management, and improve collaboration across internal teams and auditors. The result was more than a 50% reduction in internal audit fees, quicker user adoption by over 100 employees, and better real-time compliance reporting that also helped simplify external audits.
