A IBM Case Study
HEINEKEN, the global brewer behind more than 500 brands in over 190 countries, needed to modernize its technology and data landscape to support its Evergreen 2030 strategy and become the world’s best-connected brewer. The company turned to IBM Consulting and IBM technology to help digitize operations, simplify end-to-end processes, and build a scalable digital backbone across finance, supply chain, and commerce.
IBM helped HEINEKEN implement an Agile DevOps model, a hybrid cloud SAP S/4HANA core on Microsoft Azure, and a centralized data and analytics platform with automation and AI. The results were significant: deployment time dropped by 95% to about 45 minutes, hardware and VM provisioning time fell by 98% to under 5 minutes, and data footprint was reduced by more than 500 GB, improving efficiency, scalability, and decision-making.
