Bell, Canada’s largest communications company, needed to modernize its complex SAP environment to support future growth, agility, and digital transformation. With hundreds of interfaces, terabytes of historical data, and core business processes running on its ERP platform, Bell turned to IBM Consulting and IBM Rapid Move for SAP S/4HANA to create a more resilient, cloud-enabled foundation.

IBM implemented a next-generation SAP S/4HANA platform on Google Cloud in 16 months, migrating Bell’s SAP ECC system and related tools while minimizing disruption to critical operations. The results included a 44% reduction in data volume, more than 25,000 custom objects remediated, over 700 interfaces migrated, and support for 15,000 users on a cloud-native platform, helping Bell improve scalability, performance, and reporting speed.
