A IBM Case Study
MUDUM, a non-life insurance provider, needed to modernize its core business after becoming wholly owned by Crédit Agricole Assurances in 2020 and separating from its former sister company. To support digital transformation, omnichannel service, and partner integrations, MUDUM turned to IBM and its webMethods Hybrid Integration platform to replace multiple legacy integration tools with a scalable API-based architecture.
IBM implemented IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration with local partner Findmore Digital, helping MUDUM migrate and build interfaces, connect legacy data, and enable a 360-degree customer view. The results included faster claims handling and a major improvement in first-call resolution, rising from less than 80% to 97%. IBM also enabled new API-driven insurance offerings through partners, supporting MUDUM’s move toward B2B2C distribution and future growth.
