A IBM Case Study
Hyland, a provider of SaaS and PaaS content management and process automation solutions for more than 14,000 customers, faced the challenge of managing a highly complex hybrid cloud across AWS and its own datacenters while controlling costs and maintaining service quality. The scale of its environment made manual resource optimization difficult, prompting the company to turn to IBM and its Turbonomic platform.
IBM implemented Turbonomic to automate application resource management, giving Hyland AI-driven visibility and recommendations across its cloud and datacenter resources. The result was over 2,000 resourcing actions in the first month, more than 8% monthly AWS spend savings, and about 15% savings on computing costs within a year across AWS and datacenters, all while preserving customer experience.
