Kampo System Solutions, the IT strategy partner for Japan Post Insurance, needed to accelerate digital transformation while improving customer experience and operational efficiency. As it moved mission-critical services from a long on-premises track record toward cloud-native systems, the company turned to IBM Cloud and Red Hat OpenShift on IBM Cloud for support in building and operating important business applications.

IBM implemented a managed container environment on IBM Cloud and provided end-to-end support across development, infrastructure, and operations. The result was a more stable cloud foundation for key services such as My Page, insurance claims, and address changes, with improved cloud stability and reduced impact from changes between 2022 and 2024. The system now supports more than 20,000 employees across 23,000 post offices nationwide, helping Kampo System Solutions improve service quality and operational efficiency.
