Case Study: Nutrien achieves seamless IT integration and business agility with IBM webMethods

A IBM Case Study

Preview of the Nutrien Case Study

Nutrien uses a hybrid integration platform as a service to seamlessly connect multiple ERPs, cloud platforms, and legacy systems

Nutrien, a global leader in crop inputs and services, faced the challenge of integrating a complex and rapidly evolving IT landscape built through years of growth, mergers, and global expansion. With multiple ERPs, cloud platforms, legacy systems, and new partner connection needs, Nutrien turned to IBM webMethods to simplify integration and support its business operations.

IBM implemented webMethods Integration, including B2B and managed file transfer, to connect Nutrien’s diverse systems and abstract technical complexity from users. The result was a more agile and reliable integration environment with a catalog of 157 connectors and about 20 new integration solutions added to production each year, helping Nutrien improve operational efficiency and support better experiences for employees and wholesale customers.
