Delphi Automotive LLP worked with IBM Systems to modernize its enterprise integration environment. With 80 percent of its business running through a core SAP system, Delphi needed a more reliable platform to connect SAP with internal and external applications after its legacy integration setup began to fail and created business continuity risk.

IBM Systems, working with Tata Consultancy Services and IBM Systems Lab Services, implemented IBM App Connect Enterprise, IBM DataPower Gateway, and IBM Sterling B2B Integrator. The new architecture improved stability and scalability, strengthened SAP and partner integration, and supported future growth; Delphi said the platform could help sustain 20 percent business growth over the next five years while enabling newer capabilities such as API management and hybrid integration.
