BRF, one of the world’s largest food companies, needed to keep pace with rapid global growth while ensuring compliance with new Brazilian tax and HR regulations. To address performance bottlenecks in its SAP ECC environment, BRF turned to IBM Systems and SAP HANA-based infrastructure.

IBM Systems helped BRF migrate SAP ECC to SAP HANA on IBM Power Systems E870C servers with IBM System Storage DS8870, using IBM services and SAP support to complete the project on a tight timeline. The results were significant: financial report processing accelerated by up to 98%, storage requirements were reduced by 62%, and key SAP processes ran much faster, while BRF improved its ability to meet regulatory requirements and support future growth.
