Sonnet Insurance Company Hybrid cloud critical to launch of new digital insurance brand that simplifies online buying

Sonnet Insurance Company, a digital insurance brand launched by Economical Insurance, needed a hybrid cloud platform to accelerate their speed to market and scale their new online business model. To meet this challenge, they partnered with vendor IBM Security and utilized the IBM Cloud platform along with various IBM services.

IBM Security implemented a solution by moving all of Sonnet's home and auto insurance workloads to the IBM Cloud, adding 700 servers across two Canadian data centers. This scalable, agile environment from IBM allowed Sonnet to quickly respond to new demands and become Canada's only entirely online home and auto insurer, resulting in significant growth and global market visibility.
